What are the best ways to make sure my points get used?
The best way to use your points is to book vacations! The further you book in advance to your check-in date, the more availability you’ll have to choose from. If you can't travel, the best use of your points is to consider extending them with the Points Deposit Feature or RCI if you are outside of your deposit window.

Besides booking resort stays, what other ways are there to use my points?
You can always send a guest on vacation by adding their information to a reservation prior to check-in. You can also use your points to book hotel stays, car rentals, airline tickets, and more with PlusPartners.

What if I am out of points and want to travel?
If you are booking a reservation between 10 months and 3 months of check-in and don’t have enough points, you can always rent points to complete your reservation. If booking three months or less prior to check-in and you need additional points, in addition to renting, you also have the option to borrow points from your next Use Year to complete your reservation.

What is a Use Year, and where can I find mine?
A Use Year is the 12-month period you get to use your points. Based on your contract, you can receive points every year, or every other year. Depending on when you joined Margaritaville Vacation Club, your Use Year starts on one of four quarterly cycles:
Jan. 1 – Dec. 31
April 1 – March 31
July 1 – June 30
Oct. 1 – Sept. 30
If you have a biennial contract, you will have a January through December Use Year. When logged in, you can find your Use Year in the “My Ownership” tab under the Owner Dashboard.
