When you know how far out you can reserve that resort in paradise, booking is a breeze. Learn the ins and outs of the three booking windows for Margaritaville Vacation Club owners and Margaritaville Vacation Club Presidential Reserve owners.
1. Advance Reservation Priority
The Advance Reservation Priority (ARP) window is a feature of the Margaritaville Vacation Club program that allows owners to book reservations in advance at their “home” resort. Each ownership type has its own ARP benefit, and there’s a 3-night minimum, 14-night maximum on one reservation, with no more than seven nights of the reservation going into the next booking window. All reservations are subject to availability and follow these guidelines:
You can book as early as 13 months in advance at your “home” resort. At 11 months in advance, you receive exclusive access to all existing and future Margaritaville Vacation Club resorts. Only points associated with Margaritaville Vacation Club contracts are eligible to book Margaritaville Vacation Club ARP reservations.
From 14-12 months in advance of your check-in date at your “home” resort you are guaranteed accommodations in an available Presidential Reserve Suite. From 12-10 months prior to check-in, you also enjoy exclusive access to available Margaritaville Vacation Club Presidential Reserve Suites and available Presidential Reserve Suites. Only points associated with Presidential Reserve contracts are eligible to book Presidential Reserve ARP reservations.
2. Standard Reservation Window
The Standard Reservation window is when flexibility meets options. During this time reservations can be made for any Margaritaville Vacation Club and Club Wyndham resort. Depending on your ownership type, you may have some additional perks when it comes to availability.
10-3 months in advance is still a great time to book early. There’s a 3-night minimum during Prime season or a 2-night minimum during High, Quiet, and Value seasons, and a 14-night maximum on one reservation, with no more than seven nights of the reservation going into the next booking window.
You can book as early as 10-3 months in advance at all Club Wyndham resorts, with up to 50% of unreserved Margaritaville Vacation Club suites held just for Margaritaville Vacation Club owners, subject to availability.
You can book as early as 10-3 months in advance at all other Margaritaville Vacation Club and Club Wyndham resorts, with up to 75% of unreserved Presidential Reserve Suites held for Presidential Reserve owners, subject to availability.
3. Express Reservation Window
The Express Reservation window is 3 months or less prior to your arrival date, and can be used to book any Margaritaville Vacation Club or Club Wyndham resort. Last-minute reservations during this window feature simpler requirements for length of stay, plus options to borrow points or rent points to complete your reservation. There’s a 2-night minimum on stays booked three months out.
You can book 3 months or less prior to check-in, with up to 50% of unreserved Margaritaville Vacation Club suites held just for Margaritaville Vacation Club owners, subject to availability.
