When can I start using my points?
The start date listed on your Membership Agreement can be immediate or up to 6 months from the date of purchase, depending on when you meet the minimum financial requirements for travel. You are eligible to request reservations up to 8 months in advance of your requested check-in date at Club Wyndham resorts, and 10 months in advance at Margaritaville Vacation Club resorts. It is not necessary to wait until your start date to begin vacation planning.

If I meet the minimum financial requirements early, can I choose to travel before the start date listed on my membership document?
Yes, if you meet the minimum financial requirements in advance of when they are due, you can make travel arrangements prior to your start date. Please note that your end date will remain 24 months from the date of purchase. Discovery memberships sold in Tennessee and Georgia have a 12-month term with the ability to renew for 12 months (not exceeding 24 months) from date of enrollment.

In order to use your points before expiration, you need to complete your vacation before your expiration date.

Can I send family and/or friends on vacation in my place?
No, although this is a benefit available to Club Wyndham owners, you'll need to be the person checking into the resort as a Margaritaville Vacation Club Discovery member.

You will receive an e-voucher valid for an up to four night cruise for two guests in one interior stateroom aboard select Margaritaville at Sea vessels. Two passengers are required, and the guest making the reservation must be 18 years of age or older at the time of sailing. The e-voucher must be redeemed within twelve (12) months of issuance. Sailing dates are subject to availability, blackout dates, and other restrictions determined by the cruise line. Government taxes, port fees, gratuities, fuel charges, upgrades, and optional onboard purchases are not included and are the responsibility of the guest at the time of booking.
