5 Steps To Book Your Dream Resort

In just five steps, you can plan your trip like a pro. Your website makes it simple to plan, search, and book your paradise online. So click around. Find your suite spot. And book it. By following these tips and remembering to book in advance, you can get the resort and destination that you want.

Step 1: Easy, Breezy Basics

Stop dreaming, start planning. The sooner you start planning, the better prepared you’ll be to book your top choice when the opportunity comes. Get some of the basics covered and you’ll be changing your latitude in no time.

  • Determine your points budget. How many points do you have left in your Use Year? When booking in the Express Window, are you willing to borrow from the next Use Year for that perfect trip? Plus, consider booking in quiet or value season (as opposed to high or prime) to make your points stretch even further.
  • Who’s going with you? Solo fun. A romantic together trip. A whole family gathering. Figure out who will travel with you to decide what kind of suite — or multiple suites — you’ll need to book.
  • Decide trip length and time. It’s best to be flexible here. Think about how many days you want your trip to last, then pick a few different time frames when you and your group can travel. Flexible dates can help you get the vacation you want.
Step 2: Plan Ahead For Paradise

While you can find some great last-minute resort deals, it’s best to start planning your tropical trip as far in advance as possible. Take advantage of your booking windows to help ensure you get the dates you want.

  • Use your Advance Reservation Priority (ARP) booking window to book 13-11 months in advance at your home resort, and 11-10 months in advance at all other Margaritaville Vacation Club resorts. You’ll have a two-month head start to book before other Margaritaville Vacation Club owners who don’t share the same home resort.
  • Try Club Wyndham resorts. You can book a stay at any other Club Wyndham resort starting 10 months prior to your arrival during your Standard Reservation window. The further out you book, the more availability you’ll find.
Step 3: Explore Resorts

Piñas. Pools. Paradise. And everything in between. Sign in to your account and use your resort map to start searching for the perfect fit — whether it’s a Margaritaville Vacation Club resort or a Club Wyndham resort. And if you need a little help getting a wave from it all, here’s how to get inspired.

  • Paradise found. Use your destination guides to discover everything there is to see and do near your resorts.
  • Get inspired. Read through the travel inspiration section to get in a tropical state of mind. You’ll find itineraries, travel tips, and must-see destinations.
Step 4: Book Your Reservation

Fast. Simple. No wait. The best way to book your vacation is online. Simply log in to your Club Wyndham account to get started. You can see all resort availability in real time, so take charge and be your own travel agent. Click around to compare resort options, travel windows, and vacation deals with ease. Then book your bliss 24/7, 365 days a year, with no call center hours of operation holding you back. Booking online = suite success.

  • Pro tip: Check the “My Dates Are Flexible” box when searching to show availability +/- 3 days from your selected date range. It may be that the vacation you want is available just one day later.
  • Step aside, weekends. Traveling during the weekdays is just as fun — and tends to offer better availability.
  • Know your options. In many popular destinations, there are multiple resorts to call home in the same area. If one is booked, check the others.
Step 5: Find Paradise Anywhere

Every hour is happy in paradise. Start making your itinerary of things to see, do, and eat while you’re there. When it’s time, all that’s left to do is pack up, get going, and simply enjoy the no worries lifestyle. Eat. Sleep. Beach. Repeat.
